This can lead to decreased blood flow from the heart to the rest of the body, resulting in symptoms such as chronic fatigue, weakness, dizziness, shortness of breath, and swelling.

The Seinsheimer cardiovascular health program at MUSC Health Vascular Heart Center & provides programs and services designed to help people live longer, healthier lives. The DHDSP, together with the Diabetes Translation Division, also supports all 50 states and the District of Columbia in their efforts to address serious national health problems related to diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
